T-Mobile has announced that the previously rumored Unlimited Nationwide 4G plan is a reality this evening. Starting September 5, users will have the option to sign up for a completely unthrottled, uncapped, HSPA+ 4G plan from the nations number four carrier, and the pricing is right. When added to a Value plan, the data package will be $20, and on a Classic plan it will be $30.
OK, we know that T-Mobile's plans can be a bit confusing. Even those of us who are T-Mobile subscribers get confused sometimes. Here's the skinny -- T-Mobile's "Value" plan is a package they sell a bit cheaper for folks who don't want to subsidize a new phone. It's the plan you want when you're using an unlocked phone, or you like your current phone and don't want to upgrade. The "Classic" plan is the normal subsidised plan. A bit of quick math, and that means if you don't need a new phone, $69.99 per month gets you unlimited everything. No counting minutes, no counting texts, and no worrying about data limits. If you do need a subsidised phone, like a new Galaxy S3, it will cost you $89.99 for the same.
Not a bad deal if you have good T-Mobile service. Read the full press release after the break.
