|The Wan Lida clamshell handset adds a new dimension to stylish phones which can perform features that keep on re-inventing the limits of what a cell phone is capable of. The SG 3328 looks lika a plain jane normal clamshell from the outside. However flick it open and unlike any standard clamshell, its upper half actually goes some way behind the bottom half before coming to a rest. The position is supposed to be more comfortable for the user to operate the handset.|
The external display is of 65,000 colors (it is a CSTN display). However what easily takes the cake and makes the SG3328 worth writing about is its "high acoustic or high fidelity stereo loudspeakers". Check out the two longitudinal slits on the side of the handset, this is from where the music will be pumped out when the the built-in Mp3 player is switched on. Rest assured, the phone will certainly play good quality music thanks to these twin speakers. The keypad of the handset of course has a dedicated Mp3 player key as well as a five way navigational key for easy operations. The inner 1.8 inch TFT display shows 266,000 colors. In fact thanks to the colorful display that is put up by the Mp3 player (on the outer display if it is closed); and the excellent music quality of music output; people could be forgiven for thinking it is a Mp3 player that you are caryying around.
The SG3328 is not just a music machine. It also comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera (with a flash LED). Unfortunately despite such a fantastic music player, the handset onyl has about 60 megs of built-in memory. There is no further provision for increasing the memory either since there are no expansion slots. The stereo loudspeaker is fun to use when it comes to making handsfree calls; howver Wan Lida still needs to learn a thing or two before they can make handsets which will broadly appeal to the markets.
