Cell phone detector

Have you ever forgot your phone in a bar or restaurant? Then you need a gadget called Bringrr, a discreet accessory that sits quietly in the car, plugged into the 12V socket.
Bringrr connects to your mobile phone via Bluetooth and once the engine has started, Bringrr searches for your mobile phone to confirm that it is in the car. If the phone is found, Bringrr sends out a short, reassuring auditory confirmation and its light will turn blue. If your cell phone is not detected, Bringrr will send out an auditory warning and its light will turn red.
Bringrr will be available in July 2010 at a price tag of $35.

Google Vision mobile phone concept

Right now, you can google any word or combination of words. But what if you could google actual things or objects?

UK designer Callum Peden has come up with a product idea for Google. It's just an idea, but a really good one.

Called "Google Vision," the concept involves a gadget about the size of a cell phone with built-in GPS that scrolls out to reveal a flexible screen. Its purpose would be to use image recognition and GPS data to tell you what you're looking at.

The image would be compared against a database of objects known to be near the physical location identified by the GPS electronics.

Triple Watch CellphoneThe Triple Watch Cell Phone is a wrist watch that can be transformed into a cell phone. “You can slide the unit out of the wristwatch band, and with a triple-flip technique, extend it to use it as a normal cell phone,” Maneenawa said. “As a wrist watch, it has a speaker phone button that allows the user to answer the phone and hang up while driving. Or the user can combine the Triple Watch with a Bluetooth headset and carry on a wireless conversation that way,” he said.
