Samsung has beat all other manufacturers by becoming the first to bring out a 10-million pixel cell phone. This was announced at CeBIT 2006. The phone, Samsung SCH-B600, made history of sorts, surpassing some of today's well-known point-and-shoot digital cameras.
With True Color capability, images look more natural than ever before on a camera phone, and has some 15 different scene modes when taking pictures, which makes it on par with digital cameras when it comes to speciality modes.
While the front portion looks like any regular phone, the back portion emulates a digital camera. What's more, DMB functionality is built-in as well, with an MP3 player thrown in. That's taking convergence to new levels.
The Samsung B600 has a 2.2" 16-million pixel color LCD to boot.
