The long awaited Sony Ericsson XPERIA Play is now official. Sony Ericsson announced the Playstation Phone during the Super Bowl. XPERIA Play will see an official presentation at the MWC in Barcelona, starting February 14.

Samsung's Mobile Display division (SMD) is working on a flexible and unbreakable AM OLED display, wich will be available within two years. Samsung will use a thin film transistor (TFT) on the plastic panel and polyimide (PI) film to avoid residue upon light emission.

First unveiled during WES 2010 (Wireless Enterprise Symposium), BlackBerry released another sneak peek of their latest OS version 6.0. Demo includes upcoming features, social feeds apps. and the new WebKit browser, which will be HTML5 and CSS3 capable.

The BlackBerry 6 OS is expected to be available during Q3 2010.

 LG Electronics unveiled the world’s first market-ready Touch Watch Phone (Model: GD910 ) with 3G Video Telephony and GSM Quadband Network capabilities at CES 2009.

This wearable phone is a follow-up to the prototype that LG introduced at CES 2008 and includes a number of upgrades, including a full touchscreen interface, 3G capabilities and video calling. Most importantly, this watch phone will actually be available for purchase.
