i got this one too. its so easy to download. just install the cd in ur pc then connect the usb cable from pc to ur cp then thats it! d problem is, themes for g700 are not yet able.

Hi I am facing a problem in my cell phone Sony Ericsson G700. The problem is that it is showing wrong memory..the phone memory is getting used up day by day as i'm using my cell, whether i listen to songs or i click photographs or use any other application!! There are different areas where the memory is used up in the phone memory like: Media files Camera Messaging Contacts Standby etc.. The camera memory is used up when i click photos and with it Stand by memory also fills but when i delete those photographs camera memory becomes zero but Standy still shows the same incremented value!!! The problem in my cell is that this standby memory fills. I'm not able to figure out where is this memory utilised?? The memory fills up gradually and consequently the whole 160 mb (phone memory) gets exhausted within no time. Kindly solve this problem...

i bought this phone abt 2 months ago and its working gr8! i love the music player.. its better than any Nokia phone, even music editions (SE music quality is always better than correspondingly priced Nokia ones, but g700 takes the cake)... camera is awsome too, just wish it had autofocus, then it would kick any phones ass! only thing - i hav installed 2GB mem tk, but i cant seem to make the pics taken go directly to memstk. i HAV to use the phone mem which is limited. can any1 help?!?!?!?!?

In camera settings you can select where to save your photos by default, in your phone memory or on a memory card. You can always transfer photos between the memory card and the phone memory, or vice versa. If you choose to save on a memory card you can easily move your photos between two phones.

Hi, I have also the same problem. Especially the stand-by memory is increasing around 90-95 kb for every photo taken. Even if u delete the photo, stand by memory wont decrease. Once stand-by reaches 1MB, after that it will be increasing in the range of 2MB, 3 MB and so on for 10 photos taken. U just check it whether is it increasing like this for u also. When I handovered my handset in SE service center they couldnt solve ;-( Regards Deiva

@stand by memory problem Just back-up ur contact details and try doing master reset to ur phone once... Definitely memory will be released. Default lock code: 0000

hello guys i dont know how to apply themes &where to apply...pls ...can any one tell me..

i have this phone too.im using it for about 5months now and its working well. i only got a few problems though..how can i transfer my pictures from phone memory into my memory stick??

i just have this phone about a week ago and its working great even if the battery turns low easily.. hmmmmm but overall its soo cool..

To install themes on SE G700: 1) Download themes from any website to you computer. (This should be .utz file) 2) Using your data cable copy these files to "Other" folder of your memory stick. 3) Now in your phone navigate to: Main Menu > Organizer > File Manager > (Switch tab for memory Stick) Select Other folder 4) "View" the files that you copied. 5) It should ask you to install. Install it and apply it. 6) You will find this theme next time under Main menu > Settings> Display > Themes.

this phone is not good because no software support for sound recording

it's great to have this phone,have been using it for 1 year already..n still there's no problem for me..camera is extremely clear..this is due to the light intensity of the flash..crazyyy man, the flash is really bright..even friend of mine asked me,how the hell the flash is so damn bright..i said its bcuz only SE G700 can do it..ehehe..but if they added autofocus n macro it would much better improvement for the camera..though its an UIQ phone, it also has sound recorder which is saved in .amr format..to convert those amr files into mp3,all you have to do is to surf the internet..now my aim is to buy the SE SATIO (IDOU), the world's first phone to have 12MP camera..ohh hell yeah..keep up the good work Sony Ericsson Corp...salute to you guys..
