470 MB built-in shared memory

w900 will come with 500 MB onboard mem. with 470 MB user accessible mem.(30MB for operating systems.470MB will come with the phone while the memory stick you will obviously have to buy w900 has memory srick pro duo port, so it is able to support an additional 2GB (now or 4GB next year)

Spectacular design, pretty image, but its software is simply the worst. Two months of use accessing Internet and the phone restarted alone in each 6th or 7th access. The applications that downloaded from Internet, were lost often. Finally, all the menu of this phone disappeared without evident reason, so my phone was something like a music box only, because I could access the walkman application only, phone features could not work at all. On other hand, the radio device has a terrible signal of reception, understanding that it depends on the place where my phone is or the radio transmissor. Wonderful in appearance, but in essence it needs too much to be mixed. Nor Sony Ericsson could say or explain me what was the actual problem with my phone, simply they replaced it for other one after that I had to wait almost two months.

somebody please help me, got the vodafone w900 3 days ago, great phone! but today while changing the themes i got the dreaded white blank screen even though there was still battery life in it. Did the usual took out the sim and battery and tried again but now the phone won't even start and the battery indicator light is not flashing when it is connected to the charger, though strangely when i take the battery out and connect the charger to the phone the battery indicator light starts flashing red. Anyone else got this problem? Other than taking the phone back to CPW and contacting sony(which i did but both closed today)can anyone got ideas?

what an annoying phone,its called the walkman phone but i cant walk no further than 10 steps without the headphones popping out of the headset.im a milkman and as i dont have a radio in the float i use my phone,its in my pocket with the headphones under my jacket or t shirt so they dont get pulled but still they just pop out,drives me mad. also ive found that the phone likes to turn it self off whenever it feels like it. my battery doesnt seem to last very long and if the key lock is on but the phone comes slightly open in your pocket then off goes the lock and on comes (in my case) vodafone live or the video call service.so its actually starting to cost me money now!!!! mp3 player is great and the camera is second to none.the space on this phone is really good so you dont have to keep deleting things to take on new stuff but it is a bit bulky. cant wait for my upgrade really

Giving this phone 1 star is too many. It is the worst phone that has ever been created, regardless of what all these soooo called reviewers say. The Nokia N70 is about 1 billion times better, and I switched phones within 1 month after having nothing but problems with this one. Everything about the Nokia N70 is far superior and if you are thinking of buying a Sony Ericsson W900i don't, give the money you would be wasting to charity so that it goes to a better cause! I could say you have been warned, but everyone's opinion is diferent?
