you can use mp3's as ringtones but not sure if you can set ringtones from data on your memory card however. To connect your phone to your PC you need either a Bluetooth capable PC or a data cable which you can purchase from a mobile shop or online, use the CD that came with the phone to install the USB Drivers and the 550SH Handset Manager and when installing the handset manager choose the Connection Type as Data Cable. Very Happy
