I tried to download mp3's from my computer to my samsung D600 and it wont work, i tried it with the connection cable and done everything that way it said and then it didn't connect. what must i do?

If you're using Samsung PC Studio did u try dragging them to the "downloaded files" folder?
I think that there is something wrong with the Samsung Software. I've downloaded MobTime Cell Phone Manager and it works perfect on both my Samsung D600 and Samsung E340E. I can upload and download videos, mp3s, pics, sounds, etc. Give it a try.
were would i find the mobtime program thing?

I've just bought the samsung d600 and fell completely in love with it, i have already downloaded lots of games and mp3 tones, the camera is brilliant better than the d500 i had, all my mates have got this phone and i think it is brilliant how i can send them stuff without losing any credit they are a lot of money but it is worth it i recommend this phone to anyone

if you want to put mp3 on to the phone, go to phone settings, USB settings, and change the option to mass storage. Then you can just drag and drop from your pc.

hello, d600 buyers/owners, I'm posting here all the problems that I found on d600. I got some solutions for some problems.but for some problem I got nothing. so,if anyone knows any solution for those problems then your opinion will be welcomed.
*** are the symbol of solution. well,most of the problems r not major but truly silly & humorous ! hope this my review will be helpful to every d600 owners & future d600 buyers. thanks
1.no auto focus & macro mode. ***( actually no solution but try to capture your images from far distance )***
2.poor battery life. ***( great battery life (3, maybe 4 days) if you use some tips: set it to dual-band instead of quad-band, set the screen "shutdown" time to minimum (15 sec. U don't need more), kill the keyboard and slider sounds and use the head-set as much as possible, for the movies )***
3.micro sd card (1 gb. is rare & 2 gb is impossible )u should be satisfied with 512 mb card. ***( wait for future tech )***
4.not a symbian os (picsel viewer can slightly fills this lackege) ***NO SOLUTION***
5.does not vibrate & ring simultaneously. ***no solution***
6.no radio ***no solution***
7.no infrared ***no solution** (actually it requires old sets only,so its not a major problem )
8.only 2 integrated themes. ***(i m confused ,how to add more themes )***
9.u should be worried about it's sliding mechanism,d500 has some bad records. ***(u must should use it carefully)***
10.poor flash ,u can use it as a torch light only.(it should be like n70 flash ) ***no solution***
11.poor pc studio software. ***(wait for updated software version )***
12.u can't watch video full-screen ***( press 1 key while video playing )***
13.can't play music in background.so, u can't say that its a real music phone. ***no solution***
14.browser only supports xhtml not html. ***(i m confused, I don't know is there any html java software? )***
15.does not ring alarm when the phone switched off ***( change the setting as 'auto power on' )***
16.the phone limited to install java games or any software . ***(learn the tricks to unlock the funbox here http://users.skynet.be/yozy/)***
17. I've heard some reports that some dust may enter of this phone screen which is really a shame ! ***(use plastic or leather covers)***
18.some faces the problem with playing longtime (1:58 hr) movies ***( Use "Imtoo 3gp video converter" to convert movies to 3gp format .U can find it anywhere online with trial version .)***
19.the video-sound delay on 3gp files is not that frequent. It only happened to me once and the delay was one sec. max. ***(use mp4 codec )***
20.overall unstable OS ***(try to update the firmware )***
21.phone-book & address-book shows contacts simultaneously. ***no solution***
22.lack of default profile. ***no solution***
23.u can't zoom any big picture on the phone (how shame !) ***no solution***
where can we find free games for d600, what else can the 4mb of dedicated java memory be used for? chess, pacman, tetris, are these games available free for d600? what about free themes? do d600 owners carry earphones around wherever they go, how good are they and how good are the d600 speakers, are speakers good enough for listening to music without earphones?
why i don't find skins for my D600?
I have recorded video's on phone and when i bluetooth it to another phone there is no picture just sound is my settings wrong

is it possible to find skins for samsung d600
It's a cool phone, but a little disappointing at the "soft" part: it's unacceptable for such a phone not to have the "make new folder" option... My photos are all over the place (images folder)! I have to search minutes to find one in particular... I also found very annoying the fact that you cannot disable the "low battery" warning tone. Does any of you folks know some hack for fixing these problems?
have just tried a samsung d600, I've got the d500, and i would advise anyone who is thinking about upgrading,to the d600, not to bother, the only endearing feature of this phone is the camera, it has far less functions than the d500,plus it is well overpriced, rubbish ringtones, rubbish wallpapers, all in all, not a patch on the d500, save your money
I'm trying to download some themes but it kept showing me the other mobile fone units.. wat da? grRr! hope i can find one..

The d600 doesn't support themes like the Nokia's or Sony Ericsson's. And some of those "unsolvable" problems can be gotten around. For both of these, you'll need to flash your phone. Check out http://www.howardforums.com/ showthread.php?t=904216&highlight=d600
