1)bluetooth is old(1.2),2)FM radio is without RDS,3)USB is pop-port(while in SE W810 it is v2.0),4)memory is only 10Mb,5)too heavy(139g),6)too fat(25,8mm),7)whithout autofocus(which can be found in w810),8)camera is 1600x1200pixels(while in w810 it is 1632x1224 and so better),9)whithout picture editor(which can be found in w810),10)symbian programs are too slow,11)battery has only 220 h standby time and just 4 h talktime(while in SE W810 is 350 h and 8 h),12)as i said,3g is not so important ...

this is one of the ugliest phones ive seen in my life... the buttons are so small... the overall design is technologic in a weird way... not one of the best hps to buy if u wana impress ur friends at first glance...in singapore, its just being launched n its arnd s$900+... more expensive than the better-looking and more sophisticated n70 n n80 duo... spend ur money elsewhere... anything but this... seriously...

Have this phone since a week. The external screen is indeed quite bad very low resolution and somehow face a problem with the external screen when i switch the music player on. Camera quality is good. the keypad is a little uncomfortable to use though. but if u want a flip phone then the n71 is a good choice. The speakerphone clarity is good but feel the N80 will be a better choice

Although I am havng difficulties finding themes for the phone, I am sure soon there be lots of it. Good main display resolution but the cover display needs more improvement. Hoping to see more applications for s60 3rd edition.

i wish to record some of my unpleasant experiences with the N71: 1) the gallery/images & video will stutter upon selection. when a picture is chosen it will jerk before displaying. if a picture is backed, a similar jerkiness is also seen. this is irritating to the eye, but according to staff at the nokia centre the fault is inherent in this model. shouldn't the new symbian o/s be better? 2) voice reception is acceptable but not as clear as the N70, my previous model. the quality of tone wavers and fades from time to time according to environ. 3) headset is not ideal. there is a slight buffering noise in the background. the end point does not fit well into the radio slot, allowing frequent adjusting to the connection. 4) after about 37 days into using this model the covers are giving me problems. slight pressure, as i sometimes keep it in my trouser pocket, will automatically switch off the set. to turn the mobile on again, several presses on the on/off button is required. also, this does not guarantee that it will continue to function as per normal for the set, when opening or closing or slight depressing of the keypad cover happened, disables the mobile again. it is indeed frustrating to constantly keep the N71 alive. 5) after web browsing and exit, the 3G/double arrows still shows. this ought not to be the case and the system should return it to the larger font, "3G". let's say a user is unaware of this, can you imagine the bill at the end of the month incurred for non online usage? i had to exit twice before my connection was terminated. 6) in some areas, reception can be down and out for an unspecified length of time. this is not the case with my previous phone. i like the design and feel of this model, but in a way i am very disappointed with its slack performance.

This phone is the worst phone I have ever had. I bought 2. One for me and one for my husband. My phone froze after 1 day. I took it back and got refunded. After about 2 weeks my husbands phone froze and did not want to switch on. Nokia replaced the "engine" and STILL it freezes and blacks out. I have since bought a Samsung D900 and boy, what a nice phone. Cant compare the two. I have spent in total R7000 on a total RUBBISH phone. If anyone from NOKIA see this review....I want my money back!!

This phone is but ugly! I don't know what I was thinking by buying it, but when I FINALLY, after a 2 month wait recived it, i tried to turn it on and it wouldn't, so I thought, OK maybe it's just out of battery, plugged it in and NADA. straight back to Orange and i now have the N70 (I was a bit hesitant to get another N-series phone) but it is quite frankly BRILLIANT.

Very lousy fone. Take yo money elsewhere. Thing freezes all the time, keypad scratches the screen, the resolution is a joke and the music is so noisy!!! Drops calls, cant pick network and the battery life is laughable. I have used it for 2 weeks but I wish I had stayed with my simple 6131.

Nice choice if you need a smartphone where you can run navigation software. Camera is one of the best non-autofocus one. You need a display protector for screen. Overall it is just a mobile phone for someone who knows about technical stuff and who know how to handle them. NOT recommended for normal phone users who need design, userbility and don't know anything about technical stuff... like many many of the ppl posting here Razz
