I just bought the Nokia N70, it's not a bad phone - 1.92mp camera, 20x digital zoom, 21mb memory, radio etc...just one prob, I am with 3 in Australia and whenever I hold "Hang Up" for 3 seconds, it ends a packet data connection with the 3G network (Broken lines underneath the little 3G on the top left), then a few minutes later, it reconnects again, and this drains battery life. I have N70 for about 3 month and I want to say that it's NOT slow. If you have many items in galery than it opens slouly galery, but messaging and other functions are quick. I'm considering to put new firm. version but with v3 i have no problems. 512mb RSMMC is inside and there's no any problem in speed. So for everyone out there this is Symbian phone and because of this it's bit slouly than the others "ordinary" phones like SE and nokia S40. conclusion: For Symbian phone it's not slow, if you dont know what symbian is dont buy N70 or any other symbians!!!!

Just got a N70 a few days ago. Seriously. this phone rox. My 2nd symbian series 60 phone. In my opinion, its really a feature packed and solid smartphone. No matter what bad things other people say about it, its not entirely true. Maybe they just dont know how to appreciate and utilise a smartphone( no offence ) Here's my short review: Pros: 1) faster and efficient UI- ver. 8.1a 2) Very nice camera and smooth video recording 3) hot swap memory card 4) and many more!!!!!! Cons : 1) Metallic parts prone to scratches 2) camera slide a little loose 3) thats about it i think Conclusion : Overall a very good and efficient series 60 smartphone. Highly recommended!!!!!

This phone suck big time...I had it for 1 month now and it always hangs, turning itself off everynow and then. And using it everyday, it doesnt differ much from my very old 6600, the camera though is good.

This phone arrived today from O2 after waiting nearly two weeks for it to come into stock. And what exactly have I been waiting for? A phone that's slow, takes ages to boot up and doesn't even work properly. The keypad lights come on when you first switch the phone on, then they go off never to be seen again until you switch it off and back on again. So yea, it might be snazzy to look at, do everything except make the tea, but it's the basics that really matter. So I'm afraid mines off back to o2 tomorrow, good riddance, and it's back to my faithful SE W800i. In my opinion, SE make the best phones simply because they get the balance right. They don't overload a phone with features at the sacrifice of functionality. And I've owned a K700i, an S700i, a K750i and now I have the W800i. They're the best; the cameras are the best, and they never let you down. I'll be waiting for o2 to get the W900i or W810i. Anyone thinking of getting this phone should seriously consider what they think is most important in a phone. The N70 is a glorified piece of plastic.

n70 is too bulky... i better recommend motorola v3 series than having this messy phone.... n70 is fast but ussually hangs when ur in gallery, back slide is big damn shit...easily broken...

by nokia n70 from www.comet.co.uk type in n70 .there have two types of n70 the orange locked one(£159.99) and the sim free nokia n70 for(£99.99) i got one last week and i put an 02 sim card in it it is the best phone u can aver get on this planet.i think nokia has done a great josh.the phone is not slow at all i dont know wat all people a on about.good luck

It's a brick. Worst design I have ever seen in a phone. It's so slow and the signal is so bad, I'm on my third hand set with Orange. Don't buy this piece of rubbish and do not sign up with Orange in my opinion.

Hi all i ask is where do i change my media player skin to an other one cause i download a nice mplayer skin for my N70 and install it through my PC and can't find where to change it PLZ help .... and to others yeh when i switch my phone off and back on then is't take about 1-2 mins to ask my pin code a bit slow there but also in gallery it takes time about 10 to 15 seconds just to load my songs ... even if i have only 1 on my memory card .... but to say i like the phone and still a great one to use

Hi, I bought a nokia N70-1 ME about a month back. This N70-1 ME is cool like my new N73 which i got it at the same time when i got my N70 ME. The problem is that when you store too many files like videos and images it slows down, but all nseries phones get slow when too many files are stored in it. Don't think that these phones aren't good.

I use N70,yes it hangs,slow when u switch it on.But i like the phone very much compare to my N91.So out of bad the is still good,so think about SYMBIANS,arent they cool,so whatever people say bad about it,i dont give a damn,ill use it until.

I Have just read the above lit of remarks. Whar a load of %^&*^%$! It does all that Nokia said it would. problems are usually caused by the user! 3 years now mine and it is still fine( BUT IS AN ORIGINAL AND NOT AN ILLEGAL COPY) One day I will buy new but still NOKIA
