This is a defenite 3G American Phone.. with a 3G frequency of 1900Mhz UMTS!!

I have a 6270 and have had nothing but problems with it 1 week after I bought it its an over seas phone I live in San Diego, ca. the phone would always restart on me and now wont even start up. So I'm going to have to send it back to Nokia over seas dont know how long that will take. But the phone was awesome when it worked. And yes I have heard of the 6265 and I am really thinking about getting that one instead of the 6270 it looks better and is smaller. I have researched phone for many many months america gets all the left over crap if we even get it. Europe gets all the good stuff thats why americans buy over seas phones

Please, can anybody tell me what does it really mean with "push to talk"?

"Push to talk" works like a radio or one way communicator where you have to push the button before you talk, vice-versa with the response to whom you are talking to but he/she should have a phone with the same feature. This kind of service is offered by mobile service provider capable to use their network like radio frequency. Hence, if the mobile service provider did not offer this you wont be able to use this. Well of course, if this would be available it comes with additional/separate charge.

seems specially designed for cingular,i hope this low band UMTS in cingular works good, t-mobile was the first mayor gsm in the usa, they still have the same coverage and 3 yrs old handsets, cingular is better guys, t-mbile looks like grandpa network.

i own a 6270 and love it!! i only wish it had the 24mb of onboard memory instead of 10mb.....that the only difference i could see. unless it has the series 60os?!

Why did they even bother to bring up this phone? The Nokia 6270 and Nokia 6280 have better features and better rating. Do you know what Nokia was aiming for by making this 6282?
