Nokia 3230 plays radio in stereo but MP3 in monophonic only Can i install some other Music application to use it as a MP3 player instead of this RealPlayer application to improve the audio results?

Software is very slow.It hangs usually while typing a sms and gets restarts. Camera is kool but while taking snap it takes like 4-5seconds to adjust a picture and then brings it to the final form. Recommended to buy 6600 instead of 3230.

I'm quite satisfied with my phone, Nokia 6600..1 year and no problems...but it's a good ideea to go for 3230 instead or not? The main reasons will be: PTT, USB, MP3, better GPRS, EDGE...and camera, but this is not that important...what do you think guys?...I heard that it's not that reliable as 6600...Does this phone accept all the software that 6600 can handle? Please give your opinion on this. Thanks!

please , i am facing a problem the phone data transfering or receiving speed is so slow no it is the slowest i have ever seen it takes me about 15min to tansfer a file of 2mb by infrared but onestly i didn't try bluetooth yet so wat can i do??

camera is best even than 7610 but the main problem is sound is slow and i cant take any data bcoz it comes in phone memory not in memory card can u help in that?

Can anybody tell me how to change the Resolution settings. The movie is playing fine in 7610 which is 1152x864 pixels, but when I am playing in 3230 which is 1152x864 pixels, some dots come on the screen. I think I have to change some setttings, but unable to find where it is. Thax in advance.

i have recently purchased nokia3230 and this one rocks with good ergonomics, abundant interesting features.some positive points in support of buying this... 1>feature rich with decent price (price is coming down day by day, i bought it with approx 229.78 usd). 2>symbian os based on series60 platform gives a pc like feel. 3>absolute ease regarding navigation. 4>good display of 65k and screen is also sensibly large. 5>bluetooth works very smoothly. 6>1.3 megapixel camera is more than enough to take casual photos/enough opportunity of tweaiking cam. settings with 3rd party softwares. 7>os is not slow...installing, uninstalling, opening applications etc don't consume much time. 8>visual radio is good with enough signal-strength to catch local fm radios. 9>external dv-rsmmc slot which can support probably 2gb of external memory. 10>headset(hds-3) is excellent with nice and balanced(low, medium and high frequencies) bass-treble output and lowest distortion. 11>opportunity of robust download---like wallpapers, .3gp videos, ringtones, games etc. some disadvantages: 1>joystick is smooth but keypad doesn't have the tactile feel. keypad area needs more space. 2>only one speaker beside power button doesn't produce enough and good sounds...when roaming outside the sound is hard to hear. 3>battery consumption is too much high. the charge doesn't last for a full day even if the handset left unused...standby time is horribly low. I must mention that each handset has its own pros and cons...overall, this is a very good handset. If u are preparing to buy a mid-level smartphone, u can go for it....

Using this phone since autumn 2005 and very happy with it in general except two issues: 1) keypad around joystick is not of the quality and 2) something with the blutetooth profile for dial-up networking. I have a iPAQ h2210 PDA with built-in bluetooth and it connects seamlessly to SonyEricsson phones (K700i and W800i) but I just can't get to work with my 3220. Others have the same problem but no solution so far. In general: the most feature rich Nokia phone at the price.

is there any possibility that install any soptware which can compatible to use office applications in nokia 3230 phone

3 days after the purchase, 90% of the feature on this 3230 stop working including making a phone call. Returned this to the shop and they sent it to Nokia promise centre in Sydney. 2 weeks later Nokia still have not been able to either fix or replace it. They don't know when it will be fixed. They keep on asking me to wait and wait. Very poor phone with poor after sales service from Nokia Australia. My recommendation is: don't even THINK buying this phone.

hi , i bought this phone a month ago after a tidious search of the better but cheap phone to go for when it comes to the feature that i needed(camera. i saw the 1.3mpx cam to be fine although it retails at the same price as se k750(2mpx cam) which stands at US$130, i also needed a smartphone. the features of this phone are great and im incorporating it with a 512mb card. running the applications is cumbersum and at tims the phone hangs and restarts. in order to stop this abnormality, i run atmost four applications at a time but not the mp3 and thus the phone works just fine... i don't care about the mono mp3 coz i only needed a radio which is stereo on the go... i would have purchased the n6600 which retails at about US$120 but it's camera is bad...it's big...and does't look appealing... the 3230 has a finely made design and how i wish the phone should have been made so powerful like the n6630 or the n6680/n6681 bcoz i8t's better in engineering than them...it's like the mordern n72 to me... n/b: in kenya phones are so cheap bcoz they are tax and duty free... dein, nairobi,kenya
