My brother has a k800i,my father has a d900 and I an using N73. Cybershot makes the k800i popular. At first you will think that this is the best camera phone. Nokia is nokia, I compared our phones and I really get amazed on n73' s photos cpmpared to cybershot and d900. D900 is very dull, k800i looks more natural but also dull. N73 has the sharpest image of the compared to samsung and sony eriicson. Nokia is has improved their camera. Having Carl Zeiss Optics and Autofocus makes the nokia the best. I suggest that don't buy nokia that doesn' t have autofocus, specially the N80. Nokia N73 is even better than N93. N73 is the best for quality printing.

The Best Camera Phone

K800i is best and much more better than N73.
First of all with Xenon Flash with red eye,music player,video player camera 3.2 megapixel and also k800i is much more faster and looks better.

N73 IS THE BEST

I THING NOKIA N73 IS BETER THAN K8OOI AS SE HAVNT YET ADDED OS IN THERE MOB .ITS ALSO NOT GOOD FOR 3D GAMMING. AND NOKIA 73 HAS ALL THIS THINGS.AND REMEMBER IT HAS ALSO AN INTERNAL 3D SOUND EFECT WITH STERIO SPEAKERS.

i love my k800i and i didn't regret my decision to buy it. my boss bought an N73 and so far it's hanging like hell and she's having difficulty sending out SMS :grin

i love my D900 more than the n73 i sold my n73 because it was very slow when u take a picture and it hanges avery time with me then i have to take out the battery so my reccomend buy the K800i or the new k810i .......bi

got nothing more to say!! Sony Ericsson K800i is the best camera phone ever!! i used to use nokia phones ancient times ago.. nokia phones really hangs and keeps me upset!! so i recommend the k800i.. i assure you... you WON'T regret!! ahihihi :grin

N73 rules at last, in many aspects.

how little you indians know about phones. Nokia N73, I must say, rules in lots of aspects. I'll point out some. Nokia has a symbian, in which it can uses any sorts of application available from different products. Thousands can be choose from. Whereas with Sony, you're just unable because it doesn't have symbian. In terms of camera, Sony wins for it's flash and it really works during the night. But N73 wins for Carl Zeiss high technology lens, with more accurate & crystal sharp picture for daily shots. Check out what is "Carl Zeiss" lens on the net. N73 has two speakers (top & below), whereas Sony has only one. Powerful stereo, friendly to ears. Sony has powerful stereo too, but too crispy & crystal sound, which are unfriendly to the ear. N73's housings can be swapped out, Sony cannot. Rick, Finland.

I have lots of software in my N73. I have a K800i actually, and it has a great camera. And..flash. And..it is Cybershot. And..for those who prefers quality shots. And..that's it. With N73, I have 15 softwares. With the correct software, you won't suffer any 'white screen of death' or hanged. I also have multiple housings for N73. With its 3.2 mpixel, is your eye sharp enough to see sharper things? N73 has it all, even it doesn't have a Cybershot. Doesn't need to!

Sony Ericsson K800i vs Nokia N73

To me the Best Camera is that which
shows you the picture closest to the real scene. And this Control places the K800 much more ahead than n73.

N73 captures very sharp & much contrasted images which may be a fault where there already the Image is Saturated or bright.

Here many among you will favor me that Nokia probably can never beat SE in this aspect.

Sony Ericsson K800i vs Nokia N73

I have baught sony ericsson K800i and my frd N73. i have compared both of them and found that K800i is much more better when we look for image quality. its very much faster and better in case of zooming while N73 is much slower in this aspect. but 1 feature where N73 is best is it sound.

Heeeyyyy SonyEricsson products is better than all.
k800i mobile phone is much easier to use and it have best components like camera and other etc...
nokia phones will hangs sometimes, i see that!
you have to forgot nokia, because K800i is nice and the best quality in camera shots and sound too, I love it.

k800i beats n73 anytime anywhere

hi folks...those having difficulty choosing between n73 and k800i....here's my two cents worth of opinion..

i used to own nokia phones...in fact i hv used many many nokia phones.. but recently migrated to sony ericsson.

the reason being...yea, nokia n73 is a symbian phone, so what? i mean, you can install all kinds of additional software to your hearts content, but the very essence of the phone, a camera phone for this matter, it does not match up to k800i. n73 may have carl zeiss lenses and wat-hv-u, but it don hv best pic technology...and wats worse, some of my friends who use n73 commented the keypad is just too small, and keys too tiny to type fast. then the phones takes its sweet time to send out sms messages, and when u use a memory card which has high capacity, eg 1gb or 2gb...the response is super slow...

and get this...the time n73 takes to boot up after switching on the phone, i could probably finished a can of beer...LOL

k800i rules

some of the comments there thought that n73 is sharper. thats just becuase it has a better screen. but try trasnfering your pic to the computer. it sucks. nothing compared to the photos of a k800. watch out for the k900!

I just recently bought the nokia n73...basically when it comes to comparing it with the k800i...in smart phone phone standards...the n73 rulez...but k800 is your ultimate cam phone.n73 has nice photos but you cant compete with k800's xenon flash.however when you put the 2 phones on a camera test during day light the results are pretty much the same.same quality photos.

in Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot, what you see is what you get.. no automatic adjustments applied but you can improve it with some photofix features provided by Sony E itself... in nokia, automatic adjustments are already applied. for example in the N95, color restoration is already applied after you take the image, the reason why colors are sharp... and people think that it is better... but it really is not... if you want a camera that is the best among the rest, choose the one that captures what you really see, and not some edited stuffs... so as for me, K800i has better camera compared to N73.......

SE K800 Vs. N73

okay.... NOKIA ADVANTAGES
1> Nokia is better at sound
2>nokia is a symbian.
3>You can upload many softwares on it.
4>It has good video.
5> The camera in some circumstances might be good.
The camera gives sharp images.

DISADVANTAGES:
1>When turn it on it takes 25 sec
2>loading any menu takes a longtime
3>it crashes sometimes
4>every other week you will need to get frimware updated.
5> The camera takes forever!!

SE K800 ADVANTAGES:
1)gOOD NATURAL IMAGES
2)Really good flash
3)A very good night mode
4)best pic is very handy
5> does not take forever to turn on
6>loading any menu is quite quick.

DISADVANTAGES:
1)nOt a symbian
2)Not all softwares can be installed
3)The video sucks
4)Good sound but not better than N73.
5) sometimes the camera turns on itself when in pocket(cuz of lens cover, but u would not have this problem in K810i)

K800i vs N73?

if you have friends who have crappy phones (no bluetooth but with infra) K800i is the best for you for sharing files. N73 doesn't have infrared. N73 has an internal memory of a mere 42MB while K800i boasts 64MB. K800i has "photo ID" while N73 hasn't. Plus, K800i is not bulky. My sister has one and I envy the features of her phone compared to my N73. If your patient and its okay for you to have a phone that hangs a lot, try N73. If you want superb performance, try K800i.

Damn boys and girls N73 is the clear winner go to gsamarena, with all it's hanging....SE had to upgrade the Cyber Shot from the K800i to the K850i there's no upgraded N73 except for the MUSIC EDITION which any N73 can upgrade to. Sowi SE this one you lost

N73 Rocks

N73 is an amazin phone loaded with amazin features.
SE k800i may have an edge with xenon flash but N73 got Carl Zeiss Optics and Autofocus.
N73 loaded with applications but K800i is almost similar to any SE phone.
Smart phone for smart people n thats N73.
so all the smart people out there make the righ choice

I've both n73 n k800i.. overall k800i is the BEST!!! Depend on wht u really want to use on the hp actually. But for those who said n73 camera is better, then tht's juz lame. Try shakin the phone while u'r takin a pic.. then u can see k800i pic will still b sharp n clear whr else n73 will b BLUR.. in camera k800i rulez.. no doubt abt it.. software then n73 is better but who nids tht much of a software in a hp? Do u really nid that all kinda stuff when it's not even really nice to use it in such small n inconvenient way. Overall ppl prefer to use the k800i more than the n73.. i have both n i choose k800i a better hp while n73 is a great hp too.. but goin to sell off soon to get another SE hp..

Why is it that no one who loves the N73

Why is it that no one who loves the N73 cannot explain why the phone is such a drag?

The phone is a drag - i am not going to mention the other negs but one biggy is that is loads slow and that it is a drag to operate.

I don't have time to wait around for a phone!

Based on my own critical understanding

stop the fight guys,,, K800i and N73 are just the

same indeed. there are some capabilities SE can and

have that the Nokia Phones doesn't have and

incapable of, while vice-versa the same thing Nokia

also does. Before i start let me first correct

TETAMS_03 that n73 supports Infrared connectivity

and as well as bluetooth (A2DP) for CZARE, iv'e just

bought up a Nokia N73-1 black also known as the

upgraded MUSIC EDITION and based on my own

perception it is very good.. it is packed with 3.2

megapixel(second highest MP cellular phone next to

5MP) camera with a Carl Zeiss Tessar Optics Lens

2.8/5.6 AF (high technology camera capability) with

nice flash, helpful autofocus and nice 4 sounds for

picture-taking with protective backslide cover and

with special keys dedicated in video and picture

taking and has a high color resolution and large

display size screen (LCD--Liquid crystal display).

Another advantage is it is obviously a 3G Technology

mobile phone device(contains great functionalities),

part of Nokia NSeries (latest devices) infused with

VGA secondary camera (dual camera phone) that can be

used for video calling. It's phone memory is merely

45MB and with maximum of 2GB miniSD memory card. It

is also good in running softwares and applications

handling because it has Symbian and manage by an

Operating System (OS) (S60 version 3)and for its

sound system it has built in 2 speakers with loud

stereo quality sound. N73 is very much user-friendly

it is also capable of muktitasking like your PC but

a slower one. and N73i has a cute sleeping mode :-) (it

seems like i am endorsing n73 for nokia huh?

hahaha!) well i'm just siting its good qualities.

Well kidding aside, and Now i hate to do this but

i'm not a bias so i'm also gonna site its

disadvanteges. first due to its high technology

camera,, being sensitive became one of its side

effects. If you did not open its camera cover

properly or while your'e in camera mode and your'e

touching its backpart, it will automatically turn

you to standby mode which is kinda annoying

especially when your in urgent capturing special

moments. Another bad quality is it is very prone in

hanging. damn! and does have tiny keypads and an

analogue key which is unfriendly for texters like

me. Another bad side is in video, yes it captures

sharp realistic video colors qualities but when you

do video dark sites when you play it,,,--- you will

see tiny boxes or can we call it pixels,, part from

the video which is quite disgusting but not when you

play in your PC, you will be amazed. I'm not so sure

if n73 regular version also has this little bad

video quality but music edition is, maybe because it

is really made for music entertainment that can

store up to 1,500 songs with multiple formats,, i.e

MP3,AAC,AAC+,eAAC+, and WMA.

and for sony ericsson K800i ,, it really does have

high color resolution and good for 3D gaming but not

that good in softwares. It has a great camera with

Xenon flash and it is perfectly cybershot (a big

WOW). and has higher internal memory (64MB) and

superior case and doesn't hangs but not

user-friendly. it operates fast and also boots

faster than n73.. some of the comments said it is

the best camera phone, no doubt about that because

SE is really made for pictures like Digital Cameras,

but not good for those application-lovers (it's

Nokia's forte). but nevertheless SE K800i is also

impacked with full-HP plus A2DP although it doesn't

have that 2 speakers like N73 it is really a goog

Walkman phone.

You idiots doesn't understand quality. No one clones SONY ERICSSON for the parts are genuine. Surf, chat, around the world and meet lots of people using clone NOKIAS. Nokia are easy to clone while Sony doesn't. :grin
