| Coinciding with its 25th anniversary celebration, Toshiba's Digital Products Division today unveiled an innovative, designer concept ultra-mobile PC, the Libretto W100. Measuring a mere 4.84 inches by 7.95 inches when closed, the limited-edition device runs Windows 7 that can be enjoyed across dual 7 inches diagonal multi-touch screens that work horizontally or vertically. Additional features include a 6-mode virtual keyboard, 1.2GHz Intel Pentium U5400 processor, 2GB DDR3 memory, a 62GB Solid State Drive, built-in 1-megapixel webcam with face recognition, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, a MicroSD card slot and one USB 2.0 port. The libretto W100 concept PC should be available later this summer. Pricing is still unknown. |

| | Asus has announced the second generation of its Lamborghini-branded laptop, apparently adding little more than a metallic keyboard and a leather-bound palm rest below it - a "tactile way" to experienced "the Lamborghini luxury", the notebook maker claimed. ASUS VX2 is available in two colors, Lamborghini yellow and black with each one cast with aluminum-magnesium alloy and carbon fiber. |

| Toshiba America has released a series of portable notebooks Satellite U205. These are 12.1” widescreen models weighing 1.86 kg. They are designed for students and small business. The series contains two models – U205-S5002 and U205-S5022, which differ in CPU and HDD (U205-S5022 is the senior model). The notebooks feature LifeSmart technology ensuring endurance of the notebook and data protection. The recommended price makes up $1199 for U205-S5002 and $1349 for U205-S5022.

| Toshiba Corporation today announced a new 2.5-inch hard disk drive (HDD) that uses perpendicular magnetic recording technology to achieve the industry's largest 200GB capacity with only two platters. The new best of class HDD, MK2035GSS, features the highest areal density yet achieved of 277.1 megabits per square millimeter (178.8 gigabits per square inch). | Eurocom introduced the M590K Emporor, a laptop that it calls the world’s first SLI (Scan Line Interleave) notebook. Gamers will like the combination of two NVIDIA SLI-certified Geforce Go 7800 GTX 256MB graphics cards strapped together for 2x graphics performance. Those two GPUs are pumping out video to a 19-inch 1680x1050 widescreen display. With its 16x9 aspect ratio, Eurocom says this laptop has integrated HDTV support with anti-aliasing video algorithms.
