Sony Ericsson Vivaz

Today Sony Ericsson announced Vivaz, a S60-powered HD-capable mobile phone. The Vivaz (code-named Kurara) follows on from the Xperia X10 announced in November 2009, and is the second phone in the new family of phones coming to market in the first half of 2010. Sony Ericsson Vivaz will come to market in Q1 2010.

 

The Vivaz sports a 8.0-megapixel camera, 75 MB internal memory, microSD card slot and a 8GB card included in the package, Bluetooth 2.1 w/A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g with DLNA, 10.2 Mbps HSDPA and 2 Mbps HSUPA and MicroUSB 2.0 connectivity.

 

Other features include a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, 720 MHz processor and PowerVR SGX graphics and an in-built GPS system with A-GPS and Wisepilot turn-by-turn navigation (free trial version).

 

Sony Ericsson Vivaz supports UMTS HSPA 900/2100 and GSM GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS HSPA 850/1900/2100 and EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and will be available in the colours Moon Silver, Cosmic Black, Galaxy Blue and Venus Ruby.
