| Rumours that Samsung was going to join the 8mp cameraphone crowd have been circulating for a while, now the South Korean company has confirmed it's launching the i8510, codename INNOV8, in Europe in August and will be available in other markets in September. The Samsung i8510 features a 8MP autofocus camera with image stabilization and blink, smile, and face detection. The camera can take panoramic photographs, and uses the built-in GPS receiver to geo-tag pictures. The INNOV8 is capable of recording QVGA video @120 frames per second and VGA-resolution video @30 frames per second, with a full video editing suite on board. |
