Does anyone know if the LG U990 also comes in other colours apart from blck, coz it looks great now but i want to know if they have an even better looking version.

Screen broken from inside

ive had this phone for a total of 13 days now, and i absolutely love it, except for the fact that today i pull it out of my pocket and the screen has shattered from underneath the glass and the company i bought it from tell me that they dont cover physical damage under warranty.which i think is total bs due to the fact that i havent dropped it, is hasnt got a break in the glass, its like its been punched from the inside. 3 are a bunch of ...!!!!

web browsing

Can anyone tell me how good the web browser is on the U990?

I have a nokia E61 with opera browser now, but 3 have offered me a free upgrade. Should I change?

Very Nice

I talked my girlfriend into getting this phone, just so I could play with it, I fell in love with it and now I have one too. I upgraded from the N95. Got to say picture quality on the U990 is so much better then the N95 which is prone to getting motion blur. This is over come via the anti shake button located next to capture button. All up this phone is fantastic, but it is missing a few things like GPS and WLAN however the price of the phone reflects that. All up I give it a 8/10

i got this phone a month ago but what really bothers me that no matter how much i take care of it, it always drops off somewhere which wasn't my fault, everytime i try to care for it (like wiping the screen clean) always end up somehow on the floor..... I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Notes on the camera quality

Um,, I bought this phone due to its features such as the camera 5mp, but I can tell you after carefully doing close to a hundread test shots, the camera can produce detailed pictures, ( what I mean is if you zoom the picture a few times you will see that its detailed, but the overall quality of the picture, colurs, foucus, etc are at a poor standard, compared with other 5mp phones. also try manual focus this sometimes corrects its poor auto focus isue.. neverthe less, its a cool phone to have...i dont regreat going for it, cheers,...

Guys all i can say is its bloody awsome i got it today and everything about it perfect. easy 2 use, amazing camera and really great features all round.
9/10 because its missing gps thats the only thing from making it a million dollar fone :grin

CONTACT!

I just got the phone today as the IPHONE is not yet available in Australia I wanted something that was close! Not a b ad phone excellent display can see it well even outside on a sunny day. 1 thing I find annoying is that it dose not have the T9 Predictive text when searching for contacts! This is an invaluable feature when you have over 450 contacts in there. Otherwise a good value for money phone 8/10

well i got iphone and this as second phone

both have their good and their bad aspects... this is better to use as a phone i think iphone is something else... u cant compare these two things cause iphone is not only a mobile phone its something like a pc so no compare... as a mobile phone lg is the best one u can buy i think ( iphone is not a mobile phone for me

I though most Lg's were useless

I though most Lg's were useless, until i tried this at a 3 store today. I've never ever seen a good LG, but i saw this advertised and decided to check it out. I love it!!! Its just a shame i don't get another phone on my plan for 6 months (but maybe then it'll be cheaper!)

I got my hands on one the other day and compared the specs with my 'old' I-Mobile 902. yup, it's a few years old but its 5Mp beats the LGs, the 256Mb of internat memory beats the LG, in fact in every way including build, the LG is inferior to an 'inferior' I-Mobile! So I decided to stick with my 2yo phone. nice try LG..

You're an idiot! the camera is awesome if you know anything about cameras (for 5mp.) you just need good light.
The sound quality? f**k, don't use the loud speaker... USE HEADPHONES!
I have the Samsung K3 mp3 player and the sound quality form THIS PHONE IS BETTER than my mp3 player.. its amazing (with good headphones!!)

Texting is simple as, I am faster on this that a normal phone now.
I've had the phone about 2 months now and its fcuking awesome.. i love it.
Most my phones don't even last 2 months :D

if the phone is faulty and 3 are refusing to give a replacement or full refund take it to fair claims, its costs you only $30 to lodge a claim and im positive thats a lot less than the phone is worth. good luck Nathan

Better than expected

Hi Every one this Phone is one of the best in the market place. like any new phone the operation use takes a bit to get used to... totally happy with it. sussed it out before buying then took it home and found it to have more cool features then i had thought. Big Ups to LG for this little doozie!
