Amp'd Mobile today unveiled its special MOTORAZR, Amp'd Edition from Motorola, a sleek innovative handset that combines style and lightning-quick broadband performance. With powerful 3G technology, a customizable user interface and the fastest-ever download speeds, the new MOTORAZR, Amp'd Edition, delivers a superior multi-media entertainment experience to today's mobile consumer.

Featuring a Clamshell design with an Amp'd signature pearl gray finish, the phone is available for pre-order at www.ampdmobile.com, Best Buy and at Circuit City stores nationwide beginning Oct. 17, 2006.

Amp'd's enhanced version of MOTORAZR packs more mobile muscle than its predecessor to give consumers advanced capabilities, such as turbo speed downloads and instant, easy access to the full breadth of Amp'd Live content. With improved viewing and listening quality, consumers can experience Amp'd Live's robust broadband content and programming lineup to its fullest potential, including music, streaming TV, Amp'd Original programs, viral videos, 3D multiplayer games, ringtones, wallpapers, and more.

Premium Entertainment Pack To mark the launch of the MOTORAZR, Amp'd Edition from Motorola, Amp'd is including a premium audio entertainment pack for a limited time. The Bluetooth-enabled MOTORAZR comes with everything needed to take consumers from package to play, including an in-ear headset, universal adapters for at-home compatibility, and a 256MB memory card. The Feature Plan package retails for $99 with contract; or for $199 after $100 mail-in rebate with Amp'd Pay-As-You-Go or new Hybrid pricing plans.

The handset features include:

Amp'd Mobile's proprietary personalized user interface: built on BREW 3.1.2, for quick and easy downloading of music, videos, entertainment, 3D mobile gaming.

Enhanced communication: Bluetooth, Text and Picture Messaging, speakerphone, unlimited contact storage (depending on available memory), predictive text input and built-in mini-USB with mass storage capability.

Ultimate entertainment experience: MicroSD memory (up to 1GB, an MP3-quality music player with one-button, quick access to favorite tunes; a 1.3 megapixel camera with dedicated camera key, photo indicator and 4x digital zoom; MPEG-4 video and playback; and a brilliant color display for the best viewing of all your entertainment.

As Amp'd Mobile's premium handset, MOTORAZR features Bluetooth and the ability to "side load" media between the phone and computers via a USB port. MOTORAZR, Amp'd Edition from Motorola will ship with a 256MB expandable Transflash(TM) memory card with up to 1 GB expandable memory available as an upgrade.

MOTORAZR, Amp'd Edition measures 49x94x25mm (1.09x3.89x1.01 inches), weighs 3.48 oz and has a talk time of up to approximately 188 minutes of digital talk time and 200 hours of digital standby time.

The MOTORAZR, Amp'd Edition, from Motorola will be available later this month in Best Buy (post-paid), Circuit City (Pay-As-You-Go) and at over 1,000 independent Amp'd retailers.
